Consumers need to do research before hiring any company. The Ministry of Consumer Services has the Consumer Beware List www.ontario.ca/consumerbeware where consumers can research for any complaints against companies filed with the Ministry.
Sometimes the cheapest written quote is not always the best choice. Any reputable mover will inspect the items to be moved and offer a detailed contract.
