Moving day is an exciting and as you know a stressful time. The Ministry of Consumer Services is helping Ontarians make informed choices when it comes to moving. The Ministry receives almost 300 inquiries and complaints about movers each year. Further information is at the bottom of this email.

Consumers need to do research before hiring any company. The Ministry of Consumer Services has the Consumer Beware List www.ontario.ca/consumerbeware where consumers can research for any complaints against companies filed with the Ministry.

Sometimes the cheapest written quote is not always the best choice. Any reputable mover will inspect the items to be moved and offer a detailed contract. The contract is important, especially when it comes to a disagreement and bill payment. If interested, I have three matte articles of 400, 250 and 150 words.
