Court demanded Action Taken Report from Delhi Police regarding Registration of FIR against Team Anna


Ms. Ambika Singh, MM Patiala House Court Compound today issued notice to the Delhi Police and directed the cops to submit an action taken report on the issue of registration of FIR against Team Anna.
The order was passed on an application filed by Mr. Rajiv Khosla, Secretary General, Delhi Pradesh National Panthers who claimed that the members of the team Anna and in particular Arvind Kejriwal are instigating of feeling of hatred and disgrace towards the post of President among the general public by way of making allegations of corruption against Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
Mr. Khosla in his application urged that the members of IAC at the time of holding their dharna at Jantar Mantar i.e. on 25th July, 2012 has openly and publicly distributed the pamphlets in which the President was labeled with the charges of corruption as an enemy of Jan Lokpal. Khosla in his application has demanded that the criminal proceedings must be initiated against Arvind Kejriwal, Gopal Rai and Manish Sisodia for the baseless accusations and publication against the Hon’ble President of India which in fact is a violation of Article 361 of the Constitution of India.
The case was argued by Gaurav Kumar Bansal, Advocate on behalf of Rajiv Khosla.
