Why national leadership keeps J&K out of National Flag
Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party and Member, National Integration Council today accused the Central leadership for depriving the people of J&K to share the benefit of Indian democracy and rule of law. He regretted that since 1947 people of J&K have remained denied of their fundamental freedom, justice and equity which is enjoyed by every Indian citizen. Prof. Bhim Singh said that the Parliament of India, unfortunately, has deliberately chosen to keep its legislative authority out of J&K legislation resulting in constitutional chaos, disorder and political anarchy in the state of J&K. He added that the media and the pressmen come to us asking for a message to the people of J&K on Independence Day. This is a tragedy that people of India and the entire leadership of the country are ignoring about the facts that Constitution of India has not been extended to J&K nor the Indian Flag which is being hoisted throughout the country on 15th August. What message the Panthers Party can give to our people that the Indian flag is not the flag of J&K, that the Constitution of India is not applicable to J&K, that the freedoms and fundamental rights which are enjoyed by every citizen of India are not the part of J&K Constitution which is applicable in J&K.
As long as this discrimination with the people of J&K is not removed by the Parliament of India, there can be no peace and the enemies of India shall continue exploiting this situation by abetting with the enemies of India in J&K and outside.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that Reunion and Reorganization of the entire of J&K including Gilgit and Baltistan is only way out to save peace in the sub-continent.
