Indo-Bhutan Friendship Rally winners: Pritul Dev and Nirav Mehta


Thimpu: Pritul Dev (co-driver Nirav Mehta) won the top honours in the Extreme Category in the week-long fourth JK Tyre Indo-Bhutan Friendship Car Rally here on March 8th..

In second spot was SK Asgar Ali (Debashish Ghosh) followed by Saptarishi Saha (Indranil Biswas).

Topping the charts in the Adventure category were Sudip Ghosh (Soumen Mondal) ahead of Soumya Jati (Chandan Sen) and Debdutta Mukherjee (Mukesh Thakker).

The rally was organised by Friendship Car Rally Association and was supported by the Indian Embassy of Thimpu and Royal Bhutan Consulate in Bhutan. The theme of the this year's rally is 'Connecting People of India and Bhutan'.

Vicky Chandhok, President, Federation of Motorsport Clubs of India, gave away the prizes while Sanjay Sharma, Head-Motorsports, JK Tyre and Industries Limited, presided.
